Caleb was signed by Paul Jewell from Chesterfield on 26th January 2007 for a fee of £500.000.

He made his Premiership debut on 30th January 2007 at the Madejski Stadium, unfortunately Latics were on the end of a 2-3 beating.

He went on to play 8+5 Premiership games, scoring 5 in the process as Latics retained their Premiership status courtesy of a last day win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Following just 1+1 more Premiership appearances and the incoming transfers of Rachid Bouaouzan and Marcus Bent, Caleb was signed by Hull City for £1.000.000 on 31st August 2007.

On leaving Latics he saw service with Hull City and it was whilst he was based at the KC Stadium that he had a loan spell with Middlesbrough.

In February 2012 he signed for Birmingham City but he was never included in their first team and was released in July 2012.
