Brad Burrowes

Bradley-Paul "Brad" Burrowes plays as a midfielder and attacking winger. Born on 4th March 2008 in Bristol, England, he is regarded as one of Aston Villa's promising academy graduates.

Burrowes began his football journey in the Bristol Rovers academy before joining Aston Villa's academy in 2021. He progressed rapidly through Villa's youth ranks, earning a reputation for his pace, technical ability, and attacking creativity.

At Aston Villa, Burrowes helped the club's youth teams achieve success, including winning the 2024-25 Professional U18 Development League and the 2024-25 FA Youth Cup. He signed his first professional contract with Villa in March 2025.

His senior debut came on 31 August 2025, when he appeared as a substitute in a Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

On 1st September 2026 Burrowes joined Wigan on a season-long loan to gain first-team experience. Latics  described him as an exciting young talent, while Burrowes said he hopes to bring "energy, a lot of pace and hopefully some goals too" to the side.

Burrowes has represented England at youth level, featuring for the England Under-17 and Under-18 teams. He was included in England's squad for the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and later represented his country at youth international tournaments.
